The Baldner Family · Since 1910
How 114 years of Iowa farmland became a place for the people you love to gather.
Chapter 01 · The Land
The address is 21663 R Avenue, Dallas Center, Iowa — but to the Baldner family, it's simply home. For more than a century, this farm has been where the family gathers: for harvests, for holidays, for the ordinary Sundays that turn out to be the most important ones.
Three sisters grew up here. Then three more after them. Then three more again — three generations of Baldner women whose connection to this soil is in the marrow of who they are. That legacy is what gives the barn its name.
Chapter 02 · The Vision
In 2014, Glenace Baldner Shank looked at the old barn on the family property and saw something beyond what it was. She saw a place where Iowa families could celebrate the way they deserved — not in a hotel ballroom, not in a generic event space, but somewhere that felt real. Somewhere that had roots.
Five years of planning, building and refining followed. She built it the right way: climate-controlled year-round, large picture windows to bring in the Iowa light, every detail chosen for the couples who would walk through the door. When Three Sisters Barn opened in April 2019, it was exactly what she had imagined.

Built new but rooted in the past — the barn is fully heated and air-conditioned, with large picture windows that frame the fields in every season. It's a blank canvas by design: your florals, your tables, your caterer, your character.
Heated and air-conditioned — winter weddings are just as beautiful as June ones, and your guests will be comfortable either way.
Natural light pours in through large windows on every wall — the Iowa sky is always part of the decor, at no extra charge.
We built the bones — you bring the character. Every couple who walks in leaves their own mark on the space.
Space for the whole family. Designed from the ground up to hold a crowd without losing the feeling of intimacy.
